The Build-75 is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was formed to provide homes for women and their children whose lives have been severely impacted by the trauma of abuse or trafficking. It is a housing solution that will provide temporary shelters and permanent, sustainable structures at a fraction of the cost.
These homes will be built with an emphasis on sustainable design principles.

REFUND POLICY

1. Purpose
This Refund Policy “Policy” is established to outline the terms under which The Build-75, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, organized under the laws of the State of South Carolina, may issue refunds for donations, event registrations, or merchandise. This policy is intended to comply with applicable federal and state laws, including guidance from the IRS and the South Carolina Secretary of State.
2. General Policy on Donations
All donations made to The Build-75 are considered charitable contributions and are non-refundable. These contributions support our mission to build secure housing and provide supportive services to women and children recovering from trafficking and abuse.
Donors receive no goods or services in exchange for donations unless explicitly stated, and tax-deductible receipts are issued in accordance with IRS regulations.
3. Refunds for Erroneous Transactions
Refunds may be issued only under the following limited circumstances:

Duplicate Donations: If a donor unintentionally submits a duplicate donation, a refund of the duplicate amount may be issued upon request.

Incorrect Amounts: If a donation was made in an incorrect amount (e.g., due to a typographical error), and the donor notifies the organization within 30 days of the transaction, a partial or full refund may be issued at the discretion of the organization.

Unauthorized Transactions: If a donation was made fraudulently or without the donor’s authorization, the donor must notify The Build-75 in writing within 60 days of the transaction. Upon verification, a refund may be processed, and relevant authorities will be notified.
4. Event Registrations
For ticketed events or programs hosted by TheBuild-75:

Cancellations by the Registrant: Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing at least 7 calendar days before the event. Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to administrative and processing fees.

Cancellations by the Organization: If the Build-75 cancels an event, a full refund will be automatically issued to all registered participants within 14 business days.
5. Merchandise Returns
Merchandise sold by The Build-75 (e.g., branded apparel and accessories) may be returned or exchanged under the following conditions:

Items must be returned in their original, unused condition within 14 days of delivery. Failure to do this will result in the item not being accepted.

Refunds exclude shipping and handling costs.

Custom or final-sale items are not eligible for return or a refund.
6. Procedures for Refund Requests
All refund requests must be submitted in writing and include the donor’s name, contact information, date of the transaction, method of payment, and reason for the request. Requests should be sent to:
